Five essential elements for a title sequence

For a successful opening sequence you will need these following things:

1) The name of the film near the beginning of the sequence 

2) Good sound track that relates well to the movie

3) Institutional detail - Distributor / Production company 

4) Don't let it drag out too long, but keep  good amount of footage 

5) *Unique* Story line
